Review – Who Do Ya Love

Who do ya love is the new official musical based on the true story of Kc And The Sunshine Band filled with disco hits and groovy costumes.

The show follows Harry telling the story of his life in musical theatre form. Played by Fionán O’Carroll, who shines as a leading man with charisma and gorgeous vocals. He handled some technical issues with his microphone professionally and used great projection when it wasn’t working.

This shows set is amazing with the use of disco balls and groovy lighting it adds to the energy and disco atmosphere of the production along with the fun and vibrant 70s costumes.

Paige Fenlon as Dee brought gorgeous and at times heartbreaking vocals to the show, and her chemistry with Fionán was beautiful to watch unfold on stage. The rest of this cast was a joy to watch with high energy and fun choreography.

This show features an iconic disco soundtrack with hits like  “Give It Up,” “That’s The Way (I Like It),” and “Get Down Tonight.” From Kc And The Sunshine Band is a story of friendship and love and heartbreak that has the audience up on their feet singing along at the end.

This show is destined for bigger things and is a gem to watch. Don’t miss. Who Do Ya Love at Assembly George Square until 25th August at 4.50pm
