“Come dine with me the musical ” is cooking up a storm at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a fabulous cast, punchy songs, chaotic energy, and a little mischief. It’s a recipe for success.
Before the show even began, the production team, consisting of Mary, Teddy, and Roy, engaged with the audience, adding an interactive and immersive element to the performance. This introduction set the stage for the rest of the show, which revolves around the production team of the reality show “Come Dine with Me” and a group of four contestants. As suspicions of foul play arise within the competition, the ensuing chaos and madness provide the foundation for a gripping and entertaining storyline.
Throughout the 60-minute performance, the audience is treated to a mystery to solve, hints of romance, and the general zaniness of the contestants. The songs were not only enjoyable but also perfectly suited to the characters, with standout performances including Mary’s solo number and a memorable duet between Janey and Teddy.
What truly elevated the production was the support of a live band, adding a layer of dynamism and the innovative set design, which was among the best I’ve seen at this year’s Fringe Festival. Overall, “Come Dine with Me: The Musical” was an absolute hit, offering an engaging and uproarious experience that left a lasting taste in your mouth.

“Come dine with me the musical” is on at Underbelly Bristo Square until 25th August at 2.20pm
