“Potty the Plant,” a dark musical comedy, made a triumphant return to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year. The show’s twisted humour, infectious energy, and catchy songs captivated audiences once again.
The story follows Potty, an adorable yet twisted potted plant at Little Boo-Boos General Hospital, and three inept but enthusiastic nurses as they embark on a mission to solve the mystery of the missing children.
Audiences were treated to a spectacular performance featuring catchy, upbeat songs with dark and hilarious lyrics, silly and infectious dance routines, a talented cast, and an adorable puppet. It’s a show that has everything to love.
Baden Jack Burns, the puppeteer behind “Potty the Plant,” and Sarah Oakland in the role of “Nurse Lacey” exhibited charming and lovable chemistry on stage. Sarah’s stunning vocals particularly shone in the song “Unhappy,” while Baden’s comedic timing and showmanship were an absolute delight to watch.
