Magician dynamic duo and married couple Hudson and Hudson brought their new show, “2 Become Wand,” to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The show consists of magic sketches, sleight-of-hand routines, mind-reading, and comedic storytelling. At the beginning of the show, they mention that their inspiration comes from the comedic duo Morecambe and Wise, which is evident in their magic sketch routines.
In addition to the magic sketches, they also showcase other magic styles, including mind reading. While enjoyable, this aspect of the show felt somewhat unimpressive compared to other shows at the fringe that presented similar acts on a grander scale.
Alan and Kat have a delightful and playful stage presence, engaging in silly banter and quick digs at each other throughout the performance, showcasing their real-life married couple dynamic.
