2020 is officially over and a new year has begun and with it I start my first ever blog post.

My name curly sue comes from a nickname my father used to call me as a child and still to this day im referred to as “curly” . Although don’t have curly hair anymore I grew up with very thick long hair until I was old enough to chose my own hair cut and style.

I’m a 26 year old Scottish lass from Edinburgh. I’m currently studying at college after returning to education after working in childcare for 10 years. I am studying with the goal of attending university either this year or next to study midwifery.

I love to travel, be creative and express myself and I am learning to be more self confident and embrace my curves. I also have a keen interest in musical theatre and may post reviews and things in the future too.
As a plus size woman I hope to use this blog as a safe space and a place to engage with othere hope to encourage others and hope by sharing my experiences and mental health journey to inspire or help others out there to feel less alone.

The world needs more kindness and positivity so let’s spread it.
